Helf Lynda to buy a sweater
take luch at Laoshe tea house
visit TianAnmen Square, Forbidden City
seperate with Tom, take Lynda to do hutong tour by pedicab
have a drink at the houhai lake bar street
send Lynda back to her hotel
28th Oct. : pick Lynda up at President Hotel at 10am
(a nice day)visit the summer palace
Take luch for oil boiling fish
do some shopping at Yaxiu clothing market
Watch the Acrobatic performance at Chaoyang theatre
take a drink at Sanlitun bar street
29th Oct. : meet Lynda at her hotel
(half day) visit the lama temple
take lunch at a vegeterian restraunt (Lynda enjoy very much)
get home at 2pm
I've contacted with Tom for quite long time ago and he is not interested in the sight-seeing but the traditional thing in bj since he will be sent to bj for work next year. He is very active and intelligent for learning Chinese and Chinese culture. He was impressed by my excellent oral english since I havn't been aboard. I explained to him thanks to my some working experience. He introduced Lynda to me the next day and trusted me so much to take good care of her. Lynda is also from America and she is at the age of 60, looks younger than her real age. She is typical American woman who is very independent with strong personality. From Tom, I knew that she got an cancer operation 5 years ago and was a little bit sick. Beside, his husband left her when she was sick, after that, she got a lot of money from his husband become a rich woman. I tried my best to take a good care of her. I can see from her luxury watch and guise. Althought just getting along with Lynda for 2,5 days, I found she led a balance and healthy life, that's not usual in American after she got an operation. She said she comes from southern part of American where farmers lived in the past. At that time, the farmers eat more in the morning for getting energy to work in the morning, same reason for the lunch. So people there have a big meal in the morning and lunch time, small meal in the evening.
I really fell in love with my job since it keeps me knowladgeable. Every time, when I take my clients to visit the same sights, I always have different feeling for the real meaning of different explaination. I don't think it's a kind of repetition. I think it's always good when you find some enthusian from ur work.
